About Us

The Robles family moved to Tucson from Obregon, Sonora, Mexico in 1996. They each had a love for food and carrying on the old recipes of Mexico. Sonoran Sno-Cones, originally Snocone Sonora, was opened in 1999 and is now run by daughter and University of Arizona student, Maria Fernanda Robles. Sonoran Sno-Cones highlights the traditional recipes for sweets made of fresh fruit and natural ingredients, instead of artificial sweeteners.

CounterThe Robles family also opened a second Sonoran Sno-Cones location in South Tucson and a taqueria style location, Sonoran Delights, in 2005.

The taqueria has a traditional, neighborhood style and serves up some of Maria’s father’s favorite, traditional Mexican dishes like cabeza and barbacoa.
